Complementing his video installation Munster, presented for the first time in Paris, describing the saga of a mediaeval communist utopia, Martin Le Chevallier has brought together works and documents questioning historical truth and contemporary appearances. Including hoaxes, disguised images and actions interfering with the world, faced with the present-day upsurge of “fake news” —which is just the participatory version of good old propaganda—, “MakeTruth Great Again” is keen to sing the praises of merry lies and fertile alterations of reality.
