Animal, vegetal, mineral

Animal, Vegetable, Mineral is a video installation that reconsiders the boundaries between living species and matter. Somewhere between experimental documentary, slapstick fiction and poetic reflection, the project proposes to use “plant thought” as a matrix, in order to displace our human subjectivity and point out its limits, but also its areas of commonality, with intelligences radically other than our own. The figures of the earthworm and AI stand out as liminal characters, living on the edge of well-defined, hierarchical taxonomies. The narrative is extended into space by paintings and tentacular textile sculptures.
