For their duo exhibition at galerie RDV, Stéfan Tulépo and Francesco Finizio began by renaming the gallery : Ramoneur - Dentiste - Visionnaire. Could this be the title of the exhibition ? Or the name for a new kind of multitasking specialist who has set up shop between the sex shops and exotic boutiques in Commandant Charcot Alley? Maybe both ?

Ramoneur - Dentiste - Visionnaire activates the lustful and gloomy energies of the alley to inaugurate what might at first glance appear to be a designer fireplace showroom.
On closer investigation, what takes place inside and what emerges seems harder to define.
If these are indeed sculptures, then they explore the existential and esthetic dimensions of various holes that provide added charm and surplus value to urban interiors and whose function today —in light of laws outlawing their proper usage— is as questionable as that of the appendix the coccyx, or gear-based swiss precision mechanisms.
It might just be that this showroom is in fact a clinic bringing together various “trades” whose raison d’être lies in the maintenance and care of various cavities (and eventual annex conduits) in order to extract riches, exorcise demons, plug breaches and eliminate obstacles to facilitate the passage of gifts and goods, foodstuffs, arms and livestock, or just to brighten their surfaces and embellish their entrances.
